A brief history of Trousers or Pants
Trousers, or pants, are a type of garment that covers the lower half of the body and is held up by a waistband. Trousers have a long history dating back to ancient civilizations. The first known trousers were worn by horse-riding nomads in central Asia around 3,000 years ago. These trousers were designed to provide warmth and protection while riding horses, and they were made of animal hide or woven fabric.
In the West, trousers became more widespread during the Renaissance, when they were worn by men as a form of casual dress. However, it was not until the 20th century that trousers became widely accepted as appropriate attire for women. In the 1960s and 70s, the women's liberation movement fought for and won the right for women to wear trousers in the workplace. Today, trousers are a common and accepted form of clothing for both men and women in most parts of the world.

How to make a Trouser / Pant drafting pattern ?
Here is a basic guide on how to make a trouser or pant drafting pattern:
Measure your body: You will need to take several measurements to create a custom pattern that fits your body. These may include your waist, hips, inseam, and rise (distance from the waistband to the crotch). You will also need to measure the desired length of the pant leg.
Create a basic pant block: A pant block is a basic pattern that can be modified to create different styles of trousers. To create a pant block, start by drawing a rectangle that is the same width as your waist measurement and the desired length of the pant leg. Then, draw a line down the Center of the rectangle to create two pant legs.
Add the waistband: To create the waistband, draw a horizontal line across the top of the pant legs. This line should be the same width as your waist measurement.
Add the inseam: To create the inseam, draw a vertical line down the Center of each pant leg. This line should be the same length as your inseam measurement.
Add the rise: To create the rise, draw a curved line from the top of the waistband down to the crotch point. This line should be the same length as your rise measurement.
Add any desired details: This may include pockets, belt loops, or other decorative elements.
Cut out the pattern: Once you have finished drawing the pattern, cut it out along the lines you have drawn.
